Since 2012, we have been working in partnership with twelve primary schools in the delivery of our "Learn on the Move" programmes that enable pupils to be active in the classroom so activity becomes a "whole day" affair.

Our approach is to motivate and engage pupils in acquiring and achieving knowledge by using their bodies; they experience learning literacy, numeracy and associated topics by their own physical interpretation.

The classes unwittingly achieve academically and the least enthusiastic pupils eagerly respond and quickly progress with the wealth of physical activities. There are also numerous P.E. games available that are allied to the classroom programmes.

We have two programmes that follow and support the National Curriculum. Joggy Bear Education for Early Learning Years and Key Stage 1 and Lizzie's Fast Track Learn on the Move for Key Stage 2.

A two year evaluation of the impact of our programmes is currently in place with education psychologists and neuro education psychologists at Oxford Brookes University and will be completed in July 2018.

About Us

Welcome to the Joggy Bear Fit Club

Fitness presenter Lizzie Webb and Olympic Rowing medallist Debbie Flood have successfully completed piloting their Joggy Bear programme in nursery and primary schools in Slough Berkshire.

The Joggy Bear Special Reading and Multiplication Programme is now underway in two Local Authorities, Slough and Reading and we look forward to making these exciting "learning on the move" programmes more widely available soon.

The Joggy Bear Fit Club is established in several after school activity clubs, with a great team of instructors leading the fun, energetic activities.

Lizzie originated her character in the early 90's when she was TVam's breakfast television presenter. The "Lizzie & Joggy Bear" video reached the No 2 position in the Children's video charts and Channel 4 serialised the programmes in their "Take Five" early morning children's series.

Joggy Bear Big Bears Club for 5+...

Some important facts about Joggy Bear. He dreams of winning a gold medal at the Bearlympics and becoming a famous sports star. He is always exercising and playing sport but he's not sure which sport he will be the best at. He'll keep trying as many as he can as he's determined to win that medal.

But he's not very good at tidying up. His favourite food is squashed banana and his favourite word is "piffle" (when he's in trouble) And he does like to go around asking people "How are you?" so he can see them saying "Bearing up" with a big thumbs up. He thinks he's very funny!

We hope you're bearing up and enjoying jigging and jogging along with Joggy.
